Now this is what I call Nintendo Hard.

  • Fire Emblem games have had quite a bit of this. There's a bit of something for everyone:
    • At least one young girl—OFTEN qualified with "Older Than She Looks" (Fa in Sword of Seals and Myrrh in The Sacred Stones were both ancient dragons, and judging by the fact that the Official Couple for Mist is Boyd, not Rolf, I suspect there's a little bit of this going on here, also. Also Micaiah, though she's Older Than She Looks.)
      • The Japanese age of sexual consent fluctuates between prefectures, with the lowest being 13 and the highest being 18 (to prevent Enjo Kosai).
      • Token young boys too. Fun in Genealogy of the Holy War if you make the 14-year-old Artful Dodger a father.
    • Furries get their due in Path Of Radiance and Radiant Dawn with the laguz. Shinon even pokes fun at the amorous Gatrie for having a crush on Lyre... but it's perfectly understandable what Gatrie was thinking. And laguz are some mighty fine physical specimens, If You Know What I Mean.
      • This furry troper doesn't think the Laguz are THAT good looking. Except Lyre. Rawr.
      • Yeah, but just look at how great shape they all seem to be in! I'd imagine they could go for hours, If You Know What I Mean...
      • That's the beauty of them. They're human enough that even non-furries can love them.
      • True that. I wasn't a fan of anything furry until I saw the Laguz. I happen to have a major game-crush on Lyre herself. Nailah is right up there two: wolf-girl, large breasts, muscled just perfectly, tattoos, one eye, and one very beautiful costume. I think I need a cold shower.
      • Ranulf really does it for me. Happy-go-lucky blue kitty boy? All he's missing is a leash and he'd be perfect.
      • That's not even the half of it. You can actually get Ranulf and Ike to A rank in supports and at the end of Radiant Dawn, Ike will leave Tellius with Ranulf at his side instead of Soren. That's right, laguz fans get their own Ho Yay.
      • The beast tribes aren't the only ones. The heron tribe is a whole race of bishonen/bishoujo, and most of the playable ravens are fairly attractive, as well. And then there's Tibarn...yeah, the bird tribes are awesome.
      • Reyson has what appears to be a man crush (or maybe a full blown crush) on Tibarn. There's a huge amount of fanart and fan fiction shipping the two together. This straight troper honestly thinks they'd be perfect together. And who can blame Reyson. Just look at Tibarn.
      • Caineghis is a very popular subject in Bara-style art.
    • Yeah, I don't think the Laguz count as furry. In their human form, the just have certain animalistic organs either in place of the Beorc equivalent or as extra parts to their bodies. In animal form, they're just like actual animals, save those from the Dragon Tribe, however, Dragons are mythical creatures anyway, so... Anyway, my point is that the Laguz, who have most of their human and animal qualities separated between two different forms, are different from Furries, whom are usually way more animalistic in appearance and tend to only have one form. Also, Lethe is way more attractive than Lyre. Actually, Lethe is the most attractive character in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, IMHO. That's not to say that characters like Sigrun and Mia don't come close to her, though...
    • Swordmasters and their hyperathletic Critical Hit animations. Although you don't even need a critical for Radiant Dawn's Mia. Purple hair. Gratuitous gymnastic displays. And a sword. Surely I cannot be the only one turned on by this.
      • You are not, my good friend.
      • And a Zettai Ryouiki! Sign me up for the next war!
      • This troper has nicknames for a lot of the characters. Mia is "Legs".
      • You all seem to be forgetting her boobs of steel too.
      • It does NOT help that all the male swordmasters are fangirl-meltingly handsome. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. (And they all have long hair, another fetish of this tropers.)
    • And of course, Blazing Sword had both Ho Yay and Les Yay. In some of the sexiest classes in the game. Yes, even though this writer is male, he's wise enough to recognizes that the Mercenaries/Heroes often lead the Estrogen Brigade Bait. Them and the Bandits/Berserkers, who are highly muscular and always shirtless.
      • Which leads us back to Radiant Dawn and the furry fans. Volug. Human form is downright hot, and I'm comfortable enough in my heterosexuality to say so, and there is so much to work with when you consider that his animal form is a wolf. Wolves in this game (there are two, the male Volug and the female Nailah) are apparently scantily clad and highly sexy.
    • For me, Eliwood and Ninian's paired relationship after the end of the game. They've been into each other for a long time. Entailed a lot of rescuing and close calls on the battlefield. Then it reaches its limit after a certain event involving Durandal, and he believes she'll never come back to him... only to be subverted in the ending. Imagine how much he'd want to make sure she was really there with him, and that this wasn't some crazy dream or anything like that. They've been suppressing their feelings for each other the entire way. And they both know she won't live long in Elibe. After the game, those feelings would burst their way out and this troper is sure that they would be having sex at every possible moment just to cherish each other's presence.
    • No love for Ike? He's so handsome he's got at least four different girls chasing him in Path of Radiance. And in Radiant Dawn, he has Soren and Ranulf crushing on him too. This troper isn't gay, but finds Ike to be really handsome, and definitely one of the best looking Fire Emblem lords in general. (Hector and Sigurd are up there too.) Just look at how utterly ripped he gets from Path of Radiance to Radiance Dawn. The guy must be using steroids! Blue hair, well defined abs, very athletic... yeah it's no wonder why fans love shipping him with Soren. I think I'll stop talking before Ike turns me gay.
    • Let's not forget the Brother Sister Incest found all over the series (but especially the 4th and 8th games), for those into that.
    • You're controlling an army of 30+ dudes (from muscular manly men to cute boys) and hot chicks (from Femme Fatales to Moe). Don't tell me that's not fetish fuel in itself.
    • Pegasus Knights. Good GOD. An entire military unit of powerful, sexy women? In uniforms that often consist of skin-tight outfits or tiny skirts? (As well as long boots along with those skirties? )And may we emphasize that the entire army consists of nothing but women, If You Know What I Mean?
      • In addition, most of them wear various types of gloves, some even wear opera gloves.
      • And not to mention being something akin to a Shrike Team.
    • Several of Micaiah's design choices in Radiant Dawn make the cut here: Tights? Check. Excessive laces? Check. Long ribbon? Check. Fingerless gloves? Check. Silver hair? Several checks.
      • I swear her breasts get bigger as she turns into different classes.
      • It wouldn't be the only time a character visibly matures during the course of a game (Marth in the Prologue looks pretty young, while Marth by the Endgame is all grown up), although it would be surprising as Micaiah is a Branded and therefore matures slower than most. I'm guessing it's just that she wears more flattering outfits each time.
  • The Branded mature at a very slow rate. There's also the whole Mayfly December Romance thing.
    • Also, while there's no known correlation, every Branded character we meet (except for Calill and Largo's adopted daughter, though she still has time to grow up) is quite beautiful. (Four over the course of the two games—Soren, Stefan, Micaiah, and Zelgius)
      • Five, though the conversation outing Petrine as a branded is very easy to miss.
  • In Shadow Dragon, there is a character called Xane who has the ability to shapeshift into any character in your army. ANY CHARACTER, which means that he can turn into Marth or his girlfriend. Yeah, I'm just going to sit over here and wait for the fanfic writers to jump on that idea.
    • In Mystery of the Emblem when you recruit Xane he first teases Marth by shapeshifting to Tiki and confessing to him.
    • The gender-confused likes of Xane, Sephiran and, of course, Lucius are at the leisure of trap fetishists.
  • Ladies and gentleman, I present to you the hottest battle conversation in Radiant Dawn between macho birdman Tibarn and sexy wolfgirl NailaihNailah: ...I must confess, I've wanted this since I first laid eyes on you. I can hardly hold myself back right now.Tibarn: Lady, the feeling is mutual. Why do you think I winged my way over here? It looks to me like we can have a nice, private time right here. No interruptions. Just you and me.Nailah: Hawk King Tibarn. I think that a few more scars on your face will complete that rugged look you're going for.Tibarn: For a beautiful woman like you, I'll gladly offer my head. Of course you'll have to bring me down to the ground first.Nailah: Challenge accepted. I think you'll regret it once I add your feathers to my necklace, though. Oh, and let's not tell Rafiel about this, agreed? He wouldn't understand these urges of ours.
    • This is nigh impossible to achieve without hacking.
  • I thank Path of Radiance for giving me the fetish (if it is considered one) for sensitive, caring, and still manly guys that are mildly muscular.
    • You're allowed to just go ahead and say Sothe, you know.
  • Have you people completely forgotten the fairly blatant Les Yay provided in Radiant Dawn by Heather? Hell, she primarily joined the Crimean Army so that she could "meet all the pretty girls," for Ashunera's sake!
  • Soren and Ike's relationship. Their conversation at the base during Endgame in Radiant Dawn was enough for my heart to melt and run off and read sweet, sweet fanfiction. If you know what I mean.
  • Heck, just Soren. Long dark hair, pretty features, not too tall, slim boy who is just broken enough to need "fixing" and comforting? Yes, please!
    • ... not too tall? He's very short, Not That Theres Anything Wrong With That - in fact, he's mistaken for a child a few times. He stopped visibly aging a couple years before Path of Radiance and seems to have gotten stuck at short-size just before getting a growth spurt. And you forgot to mention his very adult mind, genius brains, and delightfully snarky Jerkass personality.
  • This troper has fallen for multiple Ladies of War throughout the games, but ESPECIALLY the likes of Isadora, Igrene, and Brunya... I mean, just lookatthem!◊ Yowza!
  • I'm going to bite the bullet and confess that these games have given me a general fetish for wartime/battlefield relationships and badass battle couples. As well as - albeit via fanfic - blood-soaked make-out scenes. But the battle couples, oh the battle couples - is there anything better?
  • Haar: Pretty hot with a cool eyepatch. So lazy that he would let the others (boys or girls) top him so he won't have too much to do... Mordecai: Big and muscular, yet very sweet, nice, caring and he like kids. He also hate to fight and can't even watch when he fight someone. Gatrie: He's the one who got me into Hadsome Leach/ Chivalrous perverts... Shinon: Snarky hotheaded redhead... and apparently, he like to be the best at everything he do... Rhys: Cute, helpless and almost always sick, very sweet and caring. I just wanna hug him... Naesala: Tall. dark and snarky with a chronic backstabbing disorder. I just cannot not like him...
  • Tharja, from Fire Emblem Awakening. In so many ways. To elaborate:
    • She wears a bodystocking over what is effectively lingerie with a thong, her modesty only preserved by a cape that's prone to winds and motion and covering her chest with a book in her character portraits.
    • The mischievous laugh she occasionally makes when she chages up a critical hit.
    • For those who find appeal in the above points, she has a huge crush on your character, particularly if you're male.
      • Her strong voyeuristic tendencies, counting how many times you turn over in your sleep, for example. There's nothing to suggest that she doesn't peep on you while changing clothes or taking a shower.
      • She likes to sneak up on you from behind.
      • In her A-rank support conversation with you, you fall asleep. She then notes that you're sleeping and helpless.
      • And of course if you like her, you're more than welcome to take her to S-rank and marry her, just like with the various other female options.
  • Talking about Fire Emblem Awakening... It gotta be the FE game with the most fanservice, with all the possible couples, men and women for all taste for you to marry, ect...
  • This female troper found herself extremely attracted to Gangrel, Gregor, Walhart, Lonqu', Libra, Henry, Donnel, Basilio, Stahl, Brady, Laurent, Yarne, Tharja, Panne, Flavia and Aversa...
  • Yarne's confession... "I LOOOOOVE you! Let's repopulate my species! Sorry... was that awkward?"
  • Gregor pretty much suggest sharing a bed with you... in the first support you have with him... no matter if you are a boy or a girl...
  • Donnel apparently learn very fast... Imagine... In no time, he'll know all your weak spots...
  • Virion. His Voice Grunting in particular. There's just something about that little chuckle and that moan-ish sounding noise he makes... And the sound he makes near the end of his confession sounds like an Immodest Orgasm (or is that just me?).
  • While I love the Fire Emblem games by themselves, one of the things I was delighted to find out about Awakening was the ability to engage in canonical Ho Yay and Les Yay if you so chose.
  • In Chrom's and Frederick's C-rank conversation, Frederick puts up posters intended to boost morale amongst units. The design of the poster, as he describes, is a naked image of Chrom with the caption "Chrom wants you!" Something tells me that's gonna raise something other than morale, particularly amongst male-attracted units.
