This troper must be crazy but she thought the guilty, shifty-eyed look after "Everyone remembers their first bon- Bowie!" was much more fuel-y than implied banana eating.
"Uhm, putting out for Santa's seems... lucrative... Santa Baby..."
From that same video: that sort of lustful wistful looks she gets when looking at Justin Timberlake.
This troper was pleasantly surprised by the turn her Teen Witch review took when she finally let her hair down. Then it went up again in that eighties side ponytail.
So was this troper... who's really starting to question her own sexuality here...
Lindsay looks very beautiful with her hair down.
She sure does. However, this troper takes a particular liking to her pigtails (it's one of the first things that drew me to her). They are original and particularly suit her. The great thing about a young adult woman wearing pigtails is that it allows one both to see the beauty of the long hair and to look at the contour of the head, the exposed nape of the neck and the part in the back of the head. One video where you can get a brief look at the back of Lindsay's head is the one about the nostalgic dance crazes when she dances on the street with Nella. While perhaps understandable, it's a pity that Lindsay has said she intends to retire the look after she turns 30 (in a few weeks as of this writing). If I were her boyfriend, I would try to convince her to at least wear them around the house from time to time when nobody else is looking.
Anyone here see the Hocus Pocus review? Gothy Nostalgia Chick = Yum. And while the costume wasn't the most flattering thing in the world, the fact that she would willingly dress like Mystique is kind of ridiculously hot.
The Nostalgia Chick dancing during the behind-the-scenes dance-spectacular. I... just... brrrr.
Just the Nostalgia Chick? Personally all the female cast members had elements during the dancing scene
And in the behind the scenes video, when she weaponizes "Big Lipped Alligator Moment", she was apparently wearing a miniskirt. *drool*
My Google-fu is weak. Can we get a link to the behind-the-scenes vid?
Somewhat related, I love it when she's in slightly Broken Bird mode. What can I say? I love a strong woman with issues.
This troper was more taken with the Linking up with Linkara video. Even if it was a big joke, waking up in bed with two nerdy women like that? Yes, please!
She has nice boobs too. Also, the way she went on and on about David Bowie's package, I would LOVE some girl to be that obsessed with my junk, especially a Hot Nerd like her.
She does have great boobs. She shows some great cleavage in her Hunger Games video.
Her teaser "puppies" gag, which she introduces in her original video (the Pocahontas review), is nicely paralleled in that video by that epic shirt with its very low, round neck that does a great job of showing her...puppies??? Yaaaaay!!!
I'm not even a boob man, but when I started watching her City of Angels review, I had a hard time concentrating due to that plunging v-neck.
You're not alone.
For this troper it's gotta be that black sweater. I don't know why but it provokes a very specific reaction.
You mean the one she wore in the brawl? 'Cos that was indeed extremely cute.
I can't be the only one who found her psycho moments in the Christmas review incredibly hot in a Nightmare Fuel-inducing way, can I?
In her Armageddon review, Lindsay is shown lying in bed wearing a sports bra. (shiver)
Dear Mother of God, yes! We don't often get to see the her legs, so it's quite a treat to see a video with her in it with fuel for my hosiery fetish. And those an..no I won't say it...just watch the video and see for yourself!
A strange choice but does anyone find her I'm-about-to-snap face as hot as this troper does?
In her review of Dragonheart we get to hear her say "I think I just came" with a mischievous smile on her face.
She curses a good bit, and I am at a loss to explain why I find that to be hot. Also, the shifty-eyed guilty look on her face at the end of the Earth Girls Are Easy review. As she's saying "How does going with the hotter guy with the amazing orgasm touch, who can pick up any talent instantly and... bows to your beck and call... and can take you to other planets... OK, point taken." That look. Inexplicably hot.
The whole "kidnapping" situation during the Bratz review definitely qualified as Fetish Fuel for this troper. The fearful look on the Nostalgia Chick's face, the downwards camera angle when she tries to open the door (I have a thing for small women), her escape attempts... And of course, there is the moment when the Critic almost grabs her ass. *drool*
She did a video about The Smurfette Principle where she lamented being a Distaff Counterpart and talked about how often female characters in children's entertainment are often simply there as a token woman. I feel bad for saying this, since the whole video was about exposing latent sexism, but she looks cute in eyeliner.
Screw eyeliner! I just want that hat.
Her glasses are adorable.
Yes, they are. When paired with the pigtails, they give her the nerd girl look that this Internet geek is just wild about.
Since respectable amounts of this page are dedicated to (and indeed, respectable amounts of her appeal lies in) her personality, surely it isn't a case of sexism/objectification etc.?
This Troper could have sworn he heard the internet explode when she and Marzgurl bit into that biscuit.
Oh God... I watched it again and I only just noticed that she starts biting Ma-Ti's shirt. *drools*
Those sunglasses that she wears in her Blond Pop Stars video...
The image of her bopping along to music in her car in those adorable oversized glasses is, for a fact, cuter than than a pile of kittens.
What about the ending to her Grease review? She announces the auctioning of some of her accessories, including her bow tie and a pair of sexy panties! Granted, she does add that they're not hers but still...
I think the fact that those panties weren't hers is unbelievably hot. It gives me hope.
Was I the only troper whose mind went a little crazy during the fight scene in the Ferngully review where the Critic was choking her? And more importantly, does it make me a bad person for thinking that?
Of course not.
Only if I'm not a bad person for loving the fact that she gave as good as she got.
I know this makes me sound disrespectful and awful, but her mouth is awfully distracting, especially when she has a nice shade of lipstick on.
So not alone.
The bright pink lipstick she wears in many videos really becomes her.
Disrespectful? I think you need to stop hanging around the TV Tropes forum; they've brain-washed you.
Lindsay and Nella wake up on the couch together after a long night of drinking, with lipstick they don't remember putting on.
No love for her response to anyone bitching that Hercules is nothing like the Greek myths? "Go stick a ballgag in your mouth and sit in the corner." Excuse me while I entertain yummy thoughts of fem!dom...
Really? No one here thinks Nella is insanely hot? She attends renaissance sword fights and plays guitar songs about strippers. Hot.
Nella, anyone? I already stated I find the Chick attractive, but I find her friend Nella moreso.
Seconded. The My Little Pony review cemented the crush I'd been developing on her since the Mulan one. She's just too cute.
I liked her in that Renfest costume.
Yesyesyes. Though this Troper has a thing about her Star Trek shirt too.
... Nella's boobs in the PowerGirl outfit during Charlie's Angels video, I swear at 2:30 you can see some areola peeking out, after she waves her hands down saying "it is on."
A little louder, please. I don't think Blip heard you.
From the same episode: it's not nearly as revealing as Nella's, but ELISA'S'OUTFIT. It can best be described as a dominatrix/goth/ballerina get-up, complete with black frills, spiky bracelets and a choker. It's sexy even without the cleavage — just because it hits all three of my biggest fetishes at once.
During "The Kickassian War," she slowly goes insane from coffee withdrawal and becomes feral, which is mostly just described but does include a tasty audio clip of her speaking her made up language.
In more Kickassia-extras news, she rides Lewis piggyback while the caption underneath reads "AND THUS NEW FANFICTION IS BORN". Goddammit, lady, stop being so adorable!
I always thought she was well aware of her status as a Fetish Fuel Station Attendant (and the fact that practically everybody on That Guy With The Glasses had a Fetish Fuel page) and was deliberately invoking it for all the moe it was worth. It's very effective, though. She backs up her status as The Woobie quite well, (Let's face it, who hasn't wanted to give her a hug on at least one occasion) frequently wears revealing or attention-drawing (yet always tasteful) clothing, and goddamnit, it's like she was trying to make her appearance on Atop The Fourth Wall (Episode 100 complete with cute little Boston Terrier pup) as aww-inspiring as possible. Is she attempting to instill Perverse Asexual Cuddlelust in us all or what?
Oh yeah, the Milo and Otis episode where she plays with her puppy. Her interaction with the dog is kawaii. While Lindsay is making the dog "dance", puppy gives her a little tongue kiss on the cheek. Then, after dissing pugs, Lindsay says to her dog, "Right, puppy? I know you're not a pug", then proceeds to kiss her (disclaimer: this is in no way aimed at pugs, which this troper actually has a weakness for). How adorable...and she even shows a little cleavage in the video.
Heck, any video featuring Lindsay's dog. Ever notice her tendency to lick Lindsay's exposed skin? In the Thanks for the Feedback: We, Fit episode, she's actually licking her right above her boobs when Nella arrives. Then Lindsay waves hello to Nella with her paw! BTW, the dog's name is Kali, but in the Nostalgia Chick universe she has her own online persona as "Mignon". That's French for q.t. pie!
This troper, being a big fan of both the Nostalgia Chick and Weight Gain, was gobsmacked with the opening to this Nostalgia Chick episode. Never before has 5 seconds turned me on so much. And, of course, it is never properly explained, and will probably never be mentioned again (to my chagrin), making it, appropriately, a Big LippedFetish FuelMoment.
This female troper keeps wondering whether the Chick's round-and-pouty but not-too-full lips fill her with Stupid Sexy Flanders or just smoldering envy.
While this troper is a straight girl, the Chick's pink top (and um, it showed her assets nicely) in the "Disney Vs. Dreamworks" video made her look very pretty. And is her hair long again? Cool!
She does look great in the "Disney Vs. Dreamworks" video, all pretty in PAAAINK! It's really her color. The point above about her hair being long again refers to the chin-length hair she had starting at the time of her review of Titanic until it grew out. This hair-loving troper is also glad she grew it out and likes her pigtails best when they are massive and worn high (e.g. in the She's All That review or the Chipmunk Adventure review); she has beautiful long hair (of a wonderful nut brown color), nonetheless, she still looked beautiful at the time and I have a soft spot for the adorable small pigtails that she had then - particularly how they look in said Titanic review, worn fairly high on her head with green hair ties, a classy-looking bang combed to the side, and a bow-shaped barrette at the nape of her neck which would have served to tame strands of the hair that wouldn't fit into the shorter pigtails. This combined with the pink sweater and matching lipstick, and what she does with her eyes and other gestures, results in a video that is cute beyond words.
Her pleading and begging to Will Smith to stop working on Shark Tale in her second DisVsDW is... hm... interesting... especially when she tells hims, teary-eyed, that "I love you! How could you do this to me?"
Even though she was more than likely joking, her tweet about the possible TGWTG convention being in Vegas because she wants some male hookers did something to this troper's brain.
This (straight girl) troper wasn't aware of how much she loved the Chick's brand of abusive, unrepentant myitchery until the "Fifth Element" review when it wasn't around (probably because of the lack of Nella). Straight girl troper is rather concerned by this.
I will be the butt of bad jokes no more." I think I had a nerdgirlgasm.
Oh gods, Dark Nella is...wow. From the makeup to the Evil is Sexy-factor to the Badass Longcoat, wow.
And the part where she picks up the Chick, carries her off over her shoulder, and stuffs her in the refrigerator. Squiggly feelings! Everywhere!
If Dr Tease's reaction to first seeing Dark Nella means anything, we're not the only ones who think Evil Is Sexy ((which really makes me wish I could write fic in this fandom...))
My friend and I both agree that Dark Nella looks quite attractive, but honestly, the bit in the Tron review where Normal!Nella has collapsed on the couch and is trying to fight off Dark Nella long enough for Lindsay to get away... I... guh. I think I just like mind control/posession type tropes, especially when the character's trying to fight it off.
Lindsay on the LordKat 21/02/11 livestream, whenever she got all loud and worked up. It was both intriguing and terrifying and... eerily reminded me of The Nostalgia Critic's tantrums, which make it all the better for some reason.
The Nostalgia Chick spends most of the Tron review cowering in the corner with her wrists bound with a dog collar while Dark Nella insults her and intimidates her threatens her life. *tugs at collar* (When's the next NChick review coming out? Not soon enough, that's when!)
The Chick, Nella, and the Makeover Fairy dressed as Jem and the Holograms. Oh god, yes.
The video from the Gay Pride Parade reveals that Lindsay and Nella play "gay chicken," where they both lean in for a kiss and the loser is the first to pull away. As if that wasn't enough, Lindsay claims that she always wins.
The Nostalgia Chick looks damn sexy in a corset, as shown in the Moulin Rouge review by the Nostalgia Critic.
All three of them, actually. Nella in particular. This troper never understood the fascination with corsets, but after that? This troper finally understands.
She's so pretty in that review, another one of the few videos where we get to see her legs - and with stockings. And there is the singing...I didn't really like Moulin Rouge, but this review exploits it wonderfully.
